Fall Mantel

I've been adding fall decor to my home one room at a time.  Next up on my to do list was my mantel.  I love changing it up with the seasons.  Here's what I came up with this year:

My absolute favorite part of the mantel is this ceramic pumpkin I found at Home Goods.

I love a non-traditional pumpkin.  The browns and creams blend so well with the decor in our family room.  The ceramic pumpkin sits on books I wrapped in scrapbook paper in autumn colors.

The owl art I created last year  - I think I used it in my front hallway last fall.

On the other side of the mantel I added a variety of mini pumpkins with a few in a crystal bowl.  I love combining formal with informal - I think it makes for a more interesting display.

The center of the mantel remained the same from my summer mantel.  I really love the glass canister with the bird on top filled with the eggs.  It's the right colors, so I decided it was okay to keep it and just mix in the fall accents.  I'm adventurous that way. Lol
