I especially loved this fabric:

Then when I saw it in this room, I just had to go and check it out in person:

When I got to Calico Corners and saw the fabric in person it was love at first sight. I knew instantly that it would be perfect for drapes in my guest bedroom. The fact that they were having a 20% off sale only made the decision that much easier. So I ordered it on the spot.
The fabric arrived yesterday and I started working on the drapes last night. I hope to finish them in the next day or two. I can't wait to share them with you along with a full tutorial. I'm excited! Does anyone else fall in love at first sight with fabrics? I think I may need a support group. Lol

It's beautiful, Judy! I'm looking forward to seeing it as drapes!
ReplyDeleteHi Judy,
ReplyDeleteI've seen this fabric before and love it too! I can't wait to see it in your room!

I also love these fabrics - can't wait to see your room all done up!
ReplyDeleteOh, Judy! I LOVE that fabric. I am just like you. I walk into a fabric store and time stands still. We don't live anywhere near a Calico Corners, or I'd be in serious trouble! I can't wait to see your curtains!
ReplyDeleteI love the inspirational room too; aqua/turquoise is really big right now--I love it with neutrals and browns--I'm starting to like a little orange mixed in too. Can't wait to see your fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI fall in love... then I can't cut it... then I have a pile of pretty fabric...
ReplyDeleteThe closest Calico Corners is an hour away but every time I go in there I get heart palpitations just thinking about all of the possibilities! LOL! That fabric is just gorgeous Judy and I can see why you had to have some for your guest bedroom. Can't wait to see the finished product and know it will be beautiful! :-)

I absolutely fall in love with fabrics at first sight so much so that about 20 years ago I saw a chair covered in a fabric I loved and proceeded to cover 2 loveseats with the same fabric (see link below). Still like the fabric, still have the loveseats, I might be ready for a change though. Jo @ Let's Face the Music

ReplyDeleteThey are going to be fabulous Judy. Love that fabric and the color too.
ReplyDeleteHi Judy, at least you have a purpose for your fabric. I have a cupboard full of ones I've "just had to have" and m mother has a wardrobe full... That hopefully I'll inherit one day! Looking forward to seeing the curtains.
