I love bringing Christmas into my dining room.
I have my holiday table set early this year just waiting to welcome my guests.
We are expecting 25 people for Christmas Eve, so I definitely needed to add the leaf to my dining table (plus a table in the kitchen and a kid's table). Usually I do this with my husband, but since I couldn't wait until the weekend, I just did it myself. These furniture gliders are a girl's best friend (if you've ever tried to move furniture without them you know what I mean).
I started with a tablecloth and then layered a beautiful runner on top.
The runner is from Pottery Barn.
This was one of those purchases where I was just walking through the store and saw this and just had to have it. Dangerous store for me.
I also treated myself this year to these gorgeous plates from Pottery Barn. I had a $25 off coupon they sent me and put it towards these plates.
Each plate depicts one of the twelve days of Christmas.
Aren't they pretty?
This year I went a little more simple with my centerpiece.
Here's another view...
As a final touch I added some bronze colored ornaments to a wire basket I had.
I have a few more things up my sleeve that I will add before Christmas Eve.
I will share them with you in the coming days.
I will be sharing this with No Minimalist Here.

ReplyDeleteWhat a good idea! I have some lovely Christmas plates that never see the light of day. Maybe I should follow your example and display them on the dining room table the entire month.
