As you know I spent the weekend in Binghamton. While I was there I passed a Home Goods. I actually debated whether or not to even go in. Well it was the best Home Goods I have ever been in.
They had the most beautiful things.
I loved this chair covered in Dwell Studio fabric. I wish I had somewhere to put it.
I had to walk away from this one.
I also walked away from this...
this...
and this. This piece was from Drexel Heritage. Someone bought this while I was there.
This Home Goods was filled with so many quality things.
What I didn't walk away from was two lamps. This is the first one. I fell in love with this lamp.
I just adore the shape of the base.
I also think the gray oval shade coordinates perfectly with the Lladro in my master bedroom.
It is also the perfect height to balance the flowers in the crystal vase I have on the other side of the dresser. I don't know why I didn't have a lamp here in the first place.
It looks like it has always been there.
It looks like it has always been there.
The other lamp I couldn't walk away from is this beauty. It is on my new Ethan Allen table. For now I have just hung artwork at the height that my "dream" mirror would hang
(that's why there is so much space below the picture).

The base on this lamp is beautiful too.
I am a big fan of all things crystal so of course these tear drops sold me.
Of course, the pleated shade is right up my alley too. I just adore this lamp.
Is it wrong to be this excited about two lamps??? I hope not.

Any idea which one cost $40 and which one cost $80?
Don't forget to stop back tonight for my Swing into Spring party.
The party opens at 8pm EST. Hope to see you then.

ReplyDeleteOh my- loving that giant key!
ReplyDeleteYour lamps are beautiful! I love that big key. The Binghamton Home Goods is great...you're making me want to take another road trip now! LOL
ReplyDeleteJudy I bet the smaller one was the more expensive. Love them both! Now your making me get the itch to take a trip to Home Goods LOL!
ReplyDeleteIt is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE for me to pass a Home Goods without going in! What great finds! Really loving the Dwell chair.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! What a great store. The Homegoods near us never has that many nice things. I am ready to drive all the way to Binghamton just to get that first chair!

I have been taking an intentional break at browsing through Homegoods....but this post has me craving a visit! Love that first brown chair in the Dwell Studio fabric....that would be perfect in my house!
ReplyDeleteYou have a great eye for "finds"!
I love Homegoods! Looks like that store is amazing!
ReplyDeleteLove that chair covered in the Dwell fabric! That does look like the best Homegoods ever!
ReplyDeleteThose lamps are both great, Judy! I especially love the one with the crystals. I would jump right to say the crystal one cost $80.00 and the one on your dresser was $40.00, but since you asked, I'm going to say it was the other way around. : )
ReplyDeleteHi Judy,
ReplyDeleteGorgeous lamps! I'd like to say the one on your bedroom dresser was more money.

My Tj Maxx had the same Dwell STudio chair last week. I walked away from it too since I have drapes made from that fabric already.
ReplyDeleteI adore Home Goods! Always something there I would love to own. Those chairs are both beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAAAAAAHHHH that first chair is amazing!
ReplyDeleteLove the lamps that you chose. I went to Home Goods this past weekend and everything was so tempting. I walked away just with a mirror. :) They have the best deals on lamps and mirrors I think. Megan
ReplyDeleteYes, some HomeGoods are really large and carries great things...I was amazed when I was traveling thru Richmond...huge store with great quality pieces...
ReplyDeleteI am pleasantly surprised that they are carrying Drexel Heritage!...great finds!
So jealous! What amazing finds, I want one of everything. I just wish there was a home goods close to where I lived.

Finding Fabulous
I love Home Goods too! My daughter and I saw that Dwell chair one morning at Home Goods, then saw what looked like the identical chair later in the day at Crate and Barrel for waaaay more.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you found that Dwell chair at Home Goods! I spent all kind of time recovering a chair in that same fabric- I could have saved all kinds of time. ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's awesome to see both lamps in place! It was so fun being able to hang out with you. Next time we have to hit HomeGoods together.
