Last night my kids sports activities were cancelled unexpectedly, so we found ourselves free for an entire evening. We used our time well and started to decorate for Christmas. The tree will have to wait for the weekend, but we decorated the mantel and took out some other decorations including the nativity. I'll be sharing more of our Christmas decor over the coming days.
It's tough to get a good shot of it with the lights out.
Here is our nativity. My husband bought this for me as a gift when we first were married.
It's still one of my favorite things.

It's beginning to look and feel like Christmas now.
How about you - have you started decorating for the holidays yet?

Hi Judy,
ReplyDeleteYour mantle is gorgeous. I love the colors and stockings and I am really in love with those sconces, so pretty! Thanks for sharing! XO ~Liz
Awww...Judy it looks so pretty! Looks like you are ready for the season.
ReplyDeleteLove it, your mantel is so pretty and the nativity is gorgeous. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet nativity, Judy! I have a small one that is similar to that collection {why can't I think of the name now!} that we got when we were first married. I only had to buy the stable piece separate. I know the difficulty of taking pictures in the dark to get the lights. It always looks so pretty in person and you want to capture that.
ReplyDeleteJudy, the mantel looks great! Love the nativity, as well! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so pretty Judy!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty mantel and your Precious Moments nativity is adorable!

I love nativity scenes, and yours is very nostalgic of that time.
ReplyDeleteI haven't started decorating yet, but soon!
=)
Your mantel is beautiful! And how sweet is that nativity scene! Can't wait to see more.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I finished my decorating yesterday. It's not as much as I usually do but there's just been too much going on.
