It's a new year and for me that usually means it's time to start re-organizing. Over the year closets tend to get overfilled and messy. With colder weather and being home a bit more, it gives me time to focus on cleaning out these messy closets.
The guest room closet seems to be one of the biggest offenders. I think that's where I throw anything that doesn't seem to have a home.
I found this unopened storage bag when I emptied out the closet which helped me move some of the things that aren't used very often up into the attic.
After two bags of garbage and items being relocated, the closet looks so much better.
After the guest room closet I moved on to my closet in the master bedroom
I filled three bags with items for Goodwill and reorganized everything in the closet, trying to keep only those things I will actually wear.
How about you? Have you been organizing closets?
Looks great Judy!! Closet cleaning is on the top of my to-do-list!!
ReplyDeleteI just purged a ton of things out of mine yesterday. Yours looks amazing. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteIt is so satisfying to organize our messy places, isn't it? I made a promise to share seven things I organize each week on my blog this year.....last week I only accomplished two. Oops! Have a terrific week, Jane
ReplyDeleteI haven't even thought about the closets yet, Judy. Well, except for mine, which we did clear out some clothes and got them off to Goodwill already. The guest bedroom closet is the one I really need to tackle and I'm afraid I'll be procrastinating about doing that one!
ReplyDeleteYes I have been working on my closet and purging all the things I no longer wear. Actually I'm doing the entire closet over. Your closet looks nice and organized.
ReplyDeleteHi Judy! Thanks so much for hosting.
