Using my favorite no-sew product, fabric-tac, I adhered the ribbon to the window panels. I wanted the ribbon on the leading edges as well as a border right below the rod pocket.
I hung my panels using clips and rings. Entire project cost under $30 for two panels.
I also needed a lamp. I shopped my home and found a lamp in the attic that used to be in my son's room when he was a baby.

I painted it using a bronze paint. I used a sponge brush. This product is amazing. It only took one coat.
That combined with a new shade from Target, gave this lamp a whole new lease on life.
Now it's just perfect for the space.
Two chairs also from Target. Pillows are from Pottery Barn.
Two simple projects costing less that $50 in total, that updated an entire window seating area. What do you think? I love and appreciate all of your comments.

Lovely, classic look!
very clever idea with the curtains. . .will have to tuck that idea away for later!
The ribbon really dresses up the curtain.
Love the drapes with the ribbon, they look fabulous. The lamp is perfect with the two chairs. Such a great sitting area. Love it. Hugs, Marty

Holy cow! That is awesome. And no sewing involved, that is my kind of makeover. Now, can you come to my house and help me?????????

What a great way to dress up ordinary panels and a lamp. I'm definitely going to try this in my sunroom! Thanks for the idea!
Beautiful results for very little money! Great post!!
Love your newly embellished panels. I am a huge fan of fabric tac...I use it all the time since I have no clue how to sew. You did a fab job!
Happy weekend...stopping by from Feathered Nest Friday!

Well done! The price was right, but the talent and effort turn the project into something special.
I do love that - I need to dress my son's windows along with my family room windows. Casual, but classy. This project is perfect! Thanks for sharing.
I love this idea!
Love the curtains! It's the perfect way to dress them up and make them unique!
love the curtains! I just got a quote for custom blinds and it cost a fortune. Yours look wonderful for the fraction of the price.
The ribbon on the curtains really makes for a designer look, yet so easy. Well done! It's hard to imagine the table/lamp combo is the same piece. You made a wonderful transformation of both these pieces, and then took the time to share them on the Boardwalk Bragfest. Many thanks! Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
That ribbon really creates an amazing transformation. I like re-purposed and re-used and re-imagined items!
Especially when things are quick like this!
Thanks for sharing some fun make-over ideas on this little stop for Alphabe-Thursday.
I enjoyed seeing what you've done.
