Enough Already!

Isn't tomorrow the first day of Spring?
Well, the weather here sure isn't acting like it.
Yesterday afternoon I drove my daughter to tennis.  When we got to tennis is started to flurry...no big deal, it's been doing that alot lately.  While at tennis I heard someone say something about a storm.  I hadn't heard anything about it before this.  Unfortunately I am driving a rental car this week while my car is being repaired.  The rental car only has front wheel drive.  In the hour and a half we were at tennis the roads became a mess and for some reason they decided not to plow any of them, even the major highways.  It took me almost two hours to get home.  This rental car was slipping and sliding all over the place, something I am not used to since I drive a car with all wheel drive that is awesome in the snow.  There were accidents everywhere.  When I finally did get home,  it took me three attempts to get up the driveway (the car kept slipping down the driveway sideways).  My kids are on a two hour delay this morning.
I am officially over this winter.

BRING ON SPRING...PLEASE!!!

It's time to change my Winter Blues Wednesday party to my Swing into Spring party.

Don't forget to stop back tonight for my Swing into Spring party.

The party opens at 8pm EST.  Hope to see you then.

I totally agree! It is snowing here, as I write this comment. 2 hours to get home and sliding sideways in the driveway are maddening at this point - try to have a good day anyway :-)

I know! If I hear the word "flurries" one more time I think I'm going to scream. And we were supposed to get an early Spring here in Ohio. So much for that!

I know! it seems like winter has lasted an eternity and if my car started skidding I would have passed out. Me, snow and driving = not! Thanks for the sweet comment and thanks for visiting.

I hear you. It's so hard to be patient this year. Every morning it's depressing to see new snow. Especially since my spring wreaths are on the front doors - it's very unsettling! Here's hoping Thursday will really bring the spring!

Oh Judy I'm so sorry to hear that. I usually am a sucker for snow since we don't get much here. In fact we see some snowflakes every 5 years or so! However, spring is almost here with the temperature at 20C, cherry blossoms already bloom in my street and I really cant wait. Hope it will come there too soon.
